Competition: Quad
Following on from their excellence in motor sports, sports QUADs combine both motorbike and car technology.
This explains why IDIARTEC RACING has been able to develop and manufacture high-tech competition parts after many months of studies and testing.
These parts have been designed to improve stability for these high power vehicles and so all the moving mechanical components have been recalculated.
The front axle, widened by 100 mm, is made up of aluminium triangles machined from one block and anodised, then mounted on the chassis with auto-lubricated bronze rings and chromed and treated stainless steel shafts.
Our design, including rigid, lightweight aluminium and mounting long clearance shock absorbers, demonstrates a strategic choice for engine performance on uneven ground.
The rear axle, extended by 45 mm and widened by 100 mm, is optimised to give very good traction and can thereby receive all the engine power.
The lengthened swing arms are machined entirely out of aluminium blocks on a 5-axis digital control machining centre.
The transmission belt tension adjustment is made by an off-centred aluminium bearing with 4 sealed bearings.
The rear shafts machined in special steel are also widened by 100 mm and specific vacuum heat treatment assures their resilience to withstand any bending and twisting.
For endurance tests and night trials, halogen headlights mounted on a combined steering shock absorber support fixture and handlebars make driving easier.
Quick change air filter adapters are designed to save time in pit stops.
In super quads, a sport similar to karting or super bikes, the brakes are the most important aspect to beat the clock and win the race.
All IDIARTEC RACING’s competition experience and know-how from manufacturing complex mechanical parts have gone into making complete braking systems.
Front and rear 4 pot callipers with cast iron ventilated disks for optimal braking are popular with top pilots such as Dimitri VALLET.
